Does this middle name fit with surname?

Could I have opinions please?
Thinking of middle name Willow but our surname is also the name of a shrub/tree

Does that matter? I think we might be over thinking it?! BlushSmile

I don't think it matters for a middle name.

Very difficult to tell unless I hear the full real name which I understand you may not wish to post. I can't think of surnames that are the names of trees and shrubs! Always check the initials, first initial and last name. People rarely say the full name including middle name.. Usually reserved for family knowledge or rare occasions where one has to state full name. I've been a teacher for 21 years and rarely find out middle names unless I look it up.

Our last name is a nature name too, and I wouldn't use a nature first name, but I wouldn't be put off using a nature name as a middle name.

Eg. If your last name is Birch, I think Willpw Birch is too nature-y, but Phoebe Willow Birch would be fine.

Hetty, yes thats the kind of thing!
First name is not nature. Let's say Emma (it's similar).
am in middle of contractions so we wanted to make a decision without asking family!

Thanks for the help. Smile
