List of quirky names for boy and girl

I'm not pregnant yet but we are ttc soon and I can't stop thinking about names. Our children have quite different names (in our area at least) and I like to stay away from the more popular names.

So far I have 3ds. They are called Ev* rhymes with seven, Clayn and Tedy.

I'm more than likely to have another boy. For a boy on my list so far I have
Tate, Flynn,Felix,Deacon and Rupert.

For a girl Elodie,Ottilie,Dolly,Tilly,Fleur and Florence.

What do you think? This will definitely be our last baby and especially for boys I feel I've used all the names I love so needing some advice,

I like Tate and Felix. How about Broderick, Orson or Benedict?

I like Dolly. How about Dolly as a nn for Gwendolyn.

Or Eleni, Ocean, Tindra, Flora, Florianne?

It's kind of become a running joke between myself and DH that we will have a Teddy and a Dolly.

I don't think ill ever have a girl though. I'm meant to be a mum to boys Smile

From your list i'd say felix, tilly, florence and elodie dont exactly fit the quirky.. They are extremely popular where i am (nw england) - i know 5 matilda/tillys.. 2 felix... 2 florence.. 2 elodie all under 4.
I like deacon from your boys list, think this is a nice combo with your other ds's names.
Dolly is on my girls list, also like fleur, very pretty.

Hi, you! :o

I like all your boys' names, think I like Deacon best but maybe not with your surname. It's still good though, it could work! Tate is good but I have a weird "thing" about repeating initials for DC so maybe not because of Teddy.

Out of your girl's list I like Fleur best, so pretty!

Deacon - only if you would call your son Canon, Minister or Bishop! (it's an ecclesiastical title)

For boys names I like your choices of Flynn, Felix and Rupert. Tate just makes me think of the Tate Art Gallery.

For your girls names I'd avoid the French vibe of Elodie, Fleur and Ottile, as it doesn't go with your DS's names, but that might not bother you

What about Moses for a boy? He could be Mo for short.

Hi CheerfulYank. Have you picked any names yet? How bad am I planning a name before there's a baby ha. We won't be finding out the sex next time though as we thought as it will be the last it would be nice to have a surprise.

I didn't think about my surname with Deacon your right it doesn't go well at all. DH loves Rupert it was on the list for ds3 but really unsure about it.

No, I haven't really! We like William for a boy but not sure if it's "it". Phoebe is my favorite for a girl but no one likes it besides me. :( Otherwise not sure! I really like Jack but...not with my surname!

I like Rupert! It isn't used in American really but I've always thought it was nice. :)

I love Phoebe. I'm not sure on William only because I can imagine 'Willy' being screeched in the playground. Sorry not helpful.

If I could go down the more traditional name route ( which I feel I can't now as nothing would go) then I like for a girl

Isabelle
Charlotte (lottie)
Amelia
Sophia
Darcy

For a boy
Thomas
Harrison
Edward (Teddy)
Cameron
Jake
