I am immediately singing Hey Jude in my head but that's not necessarily a bad thing!

I know a Jude and he is a really lovely little lad. It's a great name.

Jude Law.

Hey Jude. Long, drawn-out, goes-on-for-ever, everyone-pissed-at-the-end-of-a-wedding song.

Not one of my faves for those 2 reasons, I have to say.

I have a Jude, we do get a lot of people bursting into song when they hear it but then I like Hey Jude :)

In our case it was more to do with Jude the Obscure and we still love the name.

Go for it

My dnephew is a Jude & he's lovely

My older brother is Jude, so it's a big thumbs up from me.

Waily - my brother's name is also inspired by Jude the Obscure. My mom is a retired lecturer in English Lit, and Hardy is her area of specialism, hence why I'm Tess. My sister also has a name from Hardy, but in her case, not a titular character!

TessOfTheFurbyvilles I hope you and your Hardy inspired siblings have a few more laughs than your namesakes!

Thankfully we do squoosh, but I always tell my mom, she was playing a risky game! Wink

I really like it.

I used to work with a woman who was known as Jude. I had to email her every morning with some info and had a million ways to greet her on the mail to avoid using Hey ;)

All the male Judes I have known have been devilishly handsome.

Tess my name is Hardy inspired too which is why we chose Jude but my name really is so obscure that it really would out me :).
