Just found out we are having another lovely boy and were more than likely going to call him Ryder but just wondered what else goes with Hunter (DS1) just in case there's something else we prefer!

Archer, shortened to Archie.

Fletcher?

Or, lightheartedly, Gatherer. Could be shortened to Gareth!

You can't have Hunter and Ryder.....you really, really can't. Unless you're going to have Barbour and Purdey too.

Ryder is my favourite. It's nice and unique like Hunter is- you need to have a special name to go with Hunter I think.

I personally find Hunter and Ryder a but too 'theme'y. (It's a bit like having Hunter/Fisher or Hunter/Gatherer or Fox and Hunter).

Are you very horsey country people or are they just nice-sounding to you? Unless you have a close personal connection to the 'theme' of horses/hunting I'd avoid a name with a meaning too closely connected to Hunter.

My hubby is laughing at some of these responses!
