Baby names

Love short girls names but they're all so popular

I love Esme, Seren, Orla, Iris to name a pretty shortlist. The trouble I have is I am looking for something that isn't all over the playground. Are there any lovely short or medium names that are genuinely rare/ unusual? Hmm

All of the names you've mentioned are lovely and I wouldn't say are too popular. And even if they are it's obviously for a reason, they are all very pretty and much nicer (in my opinion) than Grace, Rose, Eve etc.

We have a very long surname that we always have to spell so sort names are a priority for us. I don't know any of te 4 you mentioned and all are really pretty.
We have just picked Cora should our second little one be a girl.

Just choose a name you like.

FWIW, in my DD and DS's classes none of the names mentioned in your OP occur at all.

I have a Bess. Not met another. Love Ruth, Rae, Honor, Esme and Orla as well.

How about Nia, Ada, Indra, Hope, Mae?
