Hi,

We are expecting dc3 don't know yet if the baby is a boy or a girl. We already have 2 boys with tradition names (Joseph Thomas and Henry George). Please can you let me know what you think of the current shortlist. Our surname is one sylable (spelling???), so can take a longer first and middle name and starts with a P:

Frederick Oliver
Frederick Alexander
Frederick Aaron
Frederick ????

Elisabeth Megan (I prefer the 's' version and this is the more common spelling where we live )
Megan Elisabeth
Elisabeth Madeleine
Beatrice Megan

Thanks ;)

My favourites are:

Frederick Alexander - although it's two long names, you should be able to get away with it with your surname.

Elisabeth Megan - love Elisabeth.

Madeleine is also very pretty.

Thanks for the inputs so far.

Frederick is a family name so we will, for sure, stick with that. It's just a question of the middle name. I really like Oliver but I know DH doesn't. I like the combination with Alexander in the middle, but DC1 has a crazy friend called Alexander which does put me off a bit....

If dc3 turns out to be a girl, I will be very surprised. I do like Elisabeth a lot but Megan is catching up fast. The only thing that stops me a little is that I had a Cabbage Patch doll named Megan :) I just imagine my moms face if I say her first granddaughter is called Megan. She will laugh :) :)

Frederick James - btw love Frederick!

I like all your girl's names but if had to pick would opt for Beatrice followed by Elisabeth and then Megan. Both B and E with the mn Megan.
