Our little boy is Charlie James West (we just didnt realise how common Charlie was until after we had named him but dont mind as I love the name)
The names we like so far are as follows:-

Girls
Evie Mae or May
Alice
Maisie Anne

Boys
George Thomas
George Arthur
Finn
Jack (maybe with Daniel s the middle name but not sure)

Any suggestions/ likes or dislikes would be gratefully received.
Thank you :)

Evie Mae or May - Evie is very popular
Alice - OK
Maisie Anne - lovely :)

George Thomas - OK
George Arthur - nice
Finn - not keen, reminds me of fish
Jack (maybe with Daniel s the middle name but not sure) - too similar to Jack Daniels whiskey!

How about Alice May or George Daniel?

Evie, Maisie, Finn and Jack are super common so if you're worried about popularity, I'd avoid those.

Alice is lovely, classic and not overused. George, I'm not keen on personally, sorry.

Where have you looked for inspiration? Those names are all very popular, which is fine, but there are tens of thousands of equally nice names around which aren't going to be the same as all his/her school friends.

I'd avoid Jack Daniel, for obvious reasons. Finn is the nicest boys name and Maisie the best girls name, from your list. Although it might get shortened to Mae West, which will amuse your granny!! Smile

I like all your names :)

Evie Mae/Evie - Evie is very popular these days if it bothers you but it is very pretty. Friend's DD has the name Evie-May and it is lovely.
Alice - nice name
Maisie Anne - again I like Maisie

George Thomas/Arthur - good solid name; like bith mns perhaps Arthir more so
Finn - like this as a nn but would have Finley or Finlay as full name
Jack - I like

Those names are lovely but there are thousands of them aged ten and under. You obviously did the same with Charlie.
If that's what you like then, great but another baby Jack is not necessary in this world.

George Arthur or Alice mae

lovely names you have great taste.

I also love Evie Mae but not sure about Evie with Charlie sounds a little twee.

They're all very widely used (and 'trendy') already, and I agree with Pippi that a less popular name would probably make life (for everyone) easier. But of course if you absolutely LOVE the names, then you should go for them. Alice is probably the least 'trendy', most classic one imo.

Alice and Finn or George. All these names are popular though (not that that's a problem but you stated that you didnt realise how popular Charlie was)

Evie Mae or May - not my cup of tea.
Alice - Lovely
Maisie Anne - Maisie is just a bit wishy washy to me. Lovely for a 4 yr but on an adult?
George Thomas - Love
George Arthur - Love
Finn - Hugely popular
Jack - Hugely popular, yet i've only met 1 in the last year!

IMO your girls names are quite weak alongside the likes of George and Arthur, which i see as strong names. What about Nancy, Daisy, Kitty etc?

Smile
