Rick possibly and you'd be stretching it to make that a NN.

I think nn come when the child is growing some can sprout by the way an other child says their name, like I know a boy called lewis whose younger brother called him Ousha (that was how he tried to say it and it stuck and all family members call him Ousha now)

But their are posible nn in Frederick

Freddie, fred, Red, Derry, Rick, Im sure there are more

Well I call mine Bumface, but I think that's just me :D

Also sometimes call him Friedrich, but usually just Freddie.

TBH I think anything apart from Fred or Freddie (both of which I like) might sound a bit forced.

I know a Frederick who is Rick or Richie.
He must be in his 60s, so it's not a cutie baby thing!
