One is 10 months and the other is just 3 weeks old and they need names.

Ok, so they are guinea pigs but they are my babies.

The 10 month old is the mother of the 3 week old and I am getting them from a rescue centre!

Congratulations - we are expecting 3 little boys next month. Dc will be naming them, lucky they don't have to face the school playground taunts with suggestions of Emily, Erin (ds2's best nursery friends), Mrs Brookes (headteacher) and white face (does what it says on the tin!)

Will be looking for inspiration to 'guide' the DC. Hope you have an easy transition to guinea parenthood!

How sweet! My guinea pig is gorgeous, and she's called Peppa Pig. Her mother is Peep.

My piggies are Scrumpy, Jack, Delilah (Samson recently passed away) Abbey and Amber. My Dh names them usually after football or basketball players but has recently moved onto his favourite drinks. Our last bunnt was called Stella!

Have they been named yet?

DS1 says big and small (you can decided which way round to use) or Jack and Patrick (his friend and his names) Hmm thinking you might not use these names!

Hersetta - hello Grin - been a long time - good job your dh doen't use that naming protocol from your dc! Aren't to pg? could end up with a ds called pepsi max?

Your DDs are bang on trend, there, Plonker.

I propose rhubarb and custard[o], cos then they'll remind you of MNers but no-one else will know.

Mama = Sugar
Baby = Spice

They are lovely! Our two piggies were named by DH and DS - well the first one was anyway. DS had just learnt the jingle for Henny Penny (chicken fast food joint) so DH proposed that Henny Penny was a good name for a guineapig Hmm. DS was enthusiastic so there you go.
When we got the second, it seemed to make sense to continue the theme HmmHmm so we named it Chickadee, or Chica for short. So we have Henny and Chica - for two guineapigs. No doubt if we ever get chickens we'll call them things like Olivia and Peppa.
