Romily or Verity .., not much time left?

We are going round in circles.. is Romily too unusual? I had to show DH a utube clip of Romily Weeks to convince him that it is a real name. We also like Verity but are concerned it may be a little "prim".

I like them both, sorry not a lot of help. Ive seen a few peeps on here have romilly on their lists so its not so unusual really. I dont think verity is to prim.

Sorry im not more help, maybe just go to the hospital with the two names and pick one out of a hat when she born.

i love romily

i think verity is a little prim and for some reason it makes me think of a child that would be naughty!

Romiley (pronounced the same way as Romily) is an area in South Manchester.

Verity is much nicer and it has a good meaning.

I think Verity is lovely. Not keen on Romilly.

I love Romily, it's perfect! I know two Verity's, and neither are prim (quite the opposite), nor particularly nice, so that puts me off that monika! x

I prefer Romilly but only because one of my friends has the surname Verity.

Verity. I know Romily the place. Yuk.

We have a Romilly. You can spell with 1 l though. Funnily, enough DH always wanted Verity for DCs 3 & 4 but they were both boys.

Romilly's not so unusual see? (our Romilly's on there...) and up until WW2 was mostly used for boys.

Verity gets my vote. The word means truth plus it sounds classy. Romilly doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
