I'd like to start doing some bead jewllery and I've been doing loads of research here and in books from the library. I'd like to get started now I have some paypal and need to get some basic tools, especially pliers. Can anyone recommend a good brand as I read it important to have "good quality" pliers.
Thanks

I'm not sure mine are particularly good quality but they do the job ! They were about £3-4 a pair from our local craft shop - so the Jilly ones look about the right price. The ones I use most are round nose & flat nose. I have also got some crimping pliers too which are good. I wouldn't splash out on loads though until you really know what you need
Happy beading - it's sooooo addictive !

All I bought was round nose pliers off ebay which were £4 and then I use normal household pliers to cut my wire.

When I was up in Hobbycraft the other day they had a set of 5 for about £9.99. Have also seen hobby sets in B&Q for about the same price , worth a look.
