Help with wedding invitations please

My friend asked me to help with her wedding invitations. I'm usually the crafty one, but have no ideas today. Please help me...

I cross stitched a picture of the church which we then scanned into pc and printed onto the invites.

Thus is why getting married is better before you have children because there is no way I would have the time, energy or inclination to faff around like that now

Simple embossing 9the dry embossing type) onto vellum then onto pearlescent card works wella dn is easy for large batches I think- and very elegant. gatefld cards work well for weddings as well, trimthem, and tie them closed with nice ribbon with a charm on- easy and expensive looking.
