Not sure how to explain this but on a roller blind you get the chain.
well our chain is too long and not safe with the children so I want to cut it, but i need something that I can then stick the 2 ends back together with. Ive seen a small steel attachement that holds both the balls on the chain together. Where can I get them from.

Sorry im not describing it very well.

I think I know what you mean but not sure where you get them from. I have seen roller blind safety things in a catalogue, very expensive though.

I bought the cord shortner but its only for a plain cord not the chain thats on a roller blind. The chains we have at the moment dont have them as they are continuous but way too long. I need to cust and shorten them but then I cant stick them together again.

Hardware shop should do them, you might have to buy a short length to get the bit, or perhaps a sink plug and chain to get the bit.
