Bathbomb making birthday party

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I thought I'd come for some advice. I am the least crafty person in the entire planet and I can't bake either, but my 8 year old daughter has been asking for bathbombs. I was researching how to make them and I feel I can handle it, so much so that we've decided to make a bathbomb making party for her birthday in June. There will be around 10 eight year old girls. Looking at the ingredients everything seems quite straightforward and easy to purchase, but I am a little concerned about the food colouring. Is it okay to use food colouring and won't it stain skin/bath? Any other advice/considerations? Many thanks all.

Food colouring will stain clothing so I would personally take over that part myself. You can just minimize it...use a dropper and say "Now for the colour...choose a colour and I'll pop it in" and they;ll just accept that.

After all they have the fun of mixing the ingredients, choosing a mould...making them pop out and wrapping them up afterwards. You might find some of them able to drop colouring in with no bother but others will be clumsier.x
