You can MAKE chalk paint, and it costs a FRACTION of the Annie Sloan stuff!

Look! The latex paint she uses is what we call emulsion, so a big tub of emulsion plus the calcium carbonate powder will be so much cheaper than Annie Sloan paint!

I've always wondered are there any benefits to using chalk paint? I've spent years painting old furniture with normal emulsion. Should I be using chalk paint instead?

No I haven't tried it out yet, I can't afford to at the minute. My projects will have to wait a while!
