Does anyone make scrapbook pages

I would quite like to start doing this as a hobby but there seem to be a whole range of resources and equipment I could buy. Can anyone recommend a good website / shop and what would be the basic things I would need to get started?

Do you have an album theme in mind? Basics are paper of varying sorts. You can get special glue (usually called red tape or glue dots - allows you to stick paper without ripples but pritt stick is okay in small quantities) and then there's optional embellishments - ribbons, washi tape, buttons, brads, metal "findings". Pinterest is great for ideas. Hobbycraft is great for browsing but you can get better prices elsewhere online.

Can be a very social hobby - lots of scrapbooking clubs and one-off "crop" events you can also go along too.
