My gran bought me a second hand sewing machine last year, and I have finally found my dining room, set it up to try it out... and found 5 bobbins, but not the little holder thingy to put it in the machine

You nice arts n crafty people will know... where can I get a new one???

Is it one standard size type thing or do I need lots of details?

(I love the word haberdashery )

I have no idea. I'd make a note of the maufacturer and model number of your machine and hand the slip of paper over to one of the members of staff.

I never got back to say Thankyou LIZS - forgot that I have a huge sewing shop a couple of roads away from me until I saw your post. I'll go in there at the weekend.
