I started a group with two friends (ok a friend and a mad thief woman) in my home, and although I have now moved away (or perhaps because of Wink) it has grown into quite a big club and was featured in a mag 'n all. It only takes one friend you meet, must be an excuse to hang around carft shops talking to people. Grin

mad thief woman?? oh the intrigue!!

stitch, look in a craft shop local to you to see if they do crops/workshops. you may see someone you Know from the area and then meet up with them.

ah, £8 is quite pricey. does it include any extra?
you'll have to bully... i mean persuade your friends into crafting Wink

mad thief woman would come to the house and make us watch videos of create and craft - fairly random selections for no reason at all- pick up our things and say 'OOh I am just borrowing this...' and slip it into her handbag (we always grabbed back), talked my then 3 year old into giving her his new tweenie magazine to cut up for a card, and was finally made unwelcome after being caught trying to pocket a pack of my friends card.

She was really odd and couldn't actually hold a coherent conversatin, in tretrospect suspect she had a drink problem. But at the time, my we laughed! Blush it was that or throttle her.
