Where can i buy loads of stones

They are to put in glass bowls and filled with water on top.

Have tried tesco and hoobycraft already.

Ikea sell glass beads for a pound a jar. Jars about the size of a jar of jam.

Usually find them in the plants section there. Whatever colours they happen to have.

Do you mean smooth pebbles like you find at the beach? If so, I would try on-line DIY stores or garden centres. I was looking in B&Q the other day and they had some sacks of beautiful pebbles in for the landscaping of gardens - is that what you are after? Otherwise what about trying aquarium suppliers.

Quite small stones but not like you put in fish tanks about inch by inch or so.
