Future Die cut swaps!

Dingle · 09/01/2006 18:13

I thought I'd spend half an hour or so away from Amelia's paperwork and start on this die list to send out to anyone who is interested in future swaps.
When I say swaps it doesn't mean it will be as large as the one we are currently doing, it could simply be between 2 of us.

I am basically using the list that JM made up and sent out, just changing the format slightly. Can you let me know if you want to be included please as I don't want to add all the info onto a spread sheet if you don't want to take part.

I thought that each month you could email me with any new additions, I will update the spread sheet and send out to the rest of the group once a month.

Yes please.
I have some additions to add too. A lower doodlebar alphabet, quickutz shoes and boots and a quickutz reindeer.

(Yes I know it's only January but it was the cheapest I've seen and I think its looks really good and I like to be organised and............)

What I might end up doing is a seperate sheet for other types of dies, eg alphabets,QK, sizzlets, ellison....depending on how many we all have.

Just a thought though, any ideas anyone?

Hi Chalkiebunny, not butting in at all. I have a thread about statementing on the Special Needs section, seeing the SENCO this morning! All advice welcome!I have added you to the Die list as well. Welcome!

I have a few email addresses, but if you could confirm them please on dinglescards at yahoo.co.uk
and will send out a list shortly.

At the same time as emailing your details please include any new dies that you have since JMs list.
I will work on Sizzix originals first and then do other types of dies.

I am at a stage where I have put JMs list on file, played around, added a few bits and have set up a few more work sheets to start compiling info on alphabets, sizzlits, ellison, QK...etc..but these are very much in the early stages.

Could everyone who wants to be included on the list email me on dinglescards at yahoo.co.uk with the email addy they want me to send the sheet to every month. I personally prefer to email out from my blueyonder addy. If every one is OK with this, I will try to (not done one before) set up a user group on my email so that all members are added to that group and I can send the sheet out more easily to the group as a whole.
To do this and for my records I may need a list of all email details to be kept on a seperate document, in a file called MN crafters or something. That way all details are at hand if I need them.

By setting up a group and emailling out in 1 hit, you are able to access other email details on the top of you incoming email...has anyone got a problem with this? It is only to the rest of the swap group, and TBH, most of us each others details anyway...somewhere on their PC!

Please give me feedback on this, I am new to all of this!

Sounds good. I personally would find it easier to email someone than CAT them to ask for a die swop, so would not mind my email being on a group mailshot. I have a special mumsnet email for this anyway- might be worth a consideration for others, you can set one up easily with yahoo.

After that initial contact we could agree to swop postal addresses between the two swopees to do the swop.

Right, sorry I need someone with some technical know-how!!!!

Trying to set up this user group in Yahoo and getting nowhere. It keeps coming up with an error message saying it doesn't use < or>....etc but whenever I add an email address in to the new group in automatically puts < and > either end of it!!!

Anyone know what I am doing wrong please?
