Anyone any thoughts?

Is this better than the sizzix

don't want to buy a sizzix if this is going to superseed it in a few months

Whats the difference ? It looks like a Sizzix but with funkier colours !

Am liking it very much.

What are the prices like for the machine/dies (or are they really obvious and I missed them?)

Have a look at the dies, you can get bigger ones, i.e. the word celebrate, and dies which make boxes. Also, there are dies which cut a shape and emboss at the same time, i.e. and enhanced die.

yep was looking at this the other day. the bigshot reminds me a little bit like a zipemate.
it will be bigger in width than a sizzix but lighter.
the dies look as though they'll only be able to be used in the bigshot and not in a sizzix as they'll be wider. the tag a long looks exactly like a sidekick and the dies look like sizzlets so you may be able to use them in al four.

good news is that maybe sizzix's and dies will get cheaper.

oh yea, meant to add that it'll be interesting to see if the original sizzix dies will be able to be usedf in the bigshot

apparently you can get adaptors to use other dies in the big shot

ahhh yes it works with the "whole library" of sizzix bits

hmmm maybe you can wait till shops get the big shot then you can try them both out and see which machine works best for you.
