Hi all,
I'm 14 weeks and had a CVS last Wednesday (results of which are luckily fine after a bit of a scare!), and I was wondering if it's still normal to feel sore nearly a week on?
I actually felt fine until Saturday, when I started to get what can only be described as constant ache and pain if I moved about, or gently pressed on my tummy, particularly on one side and in my lower abs. I know a little soreness is expected, but something is definitely niggling , it's actually a little hard to describe! I think that's why I feel like a tit going to the docs as i'm not sure HOW to describe the pain! It's not cramps, I haven't been bleeding, nor have a fever, but pain has pretty much appeared from Sat. Saw a midwife on Friday who listened to baby and all seemed okay then, but this is before I got pain.
Has anyone else had a CVS and felt very sore for a while afterwards? Should I get it checked out to be on the safe side? Could they just be normal stretchy pains? It's my first baby so haven't got a clue as to what's okay and what's not! Very aware that I don't want to become a hyperchondriac (sic!).
On a different, perhaps related, perhaps not related note, I had a scan at 6 weeks after some bleeding, and although all was okay, the sonographer noticed a large cyst on one of my ovaries. She said we might want to keep an eye on it in case it grew, but was nothing major to worry about. Tbh, I had forgotten about it, and not one person (and several have scanned me since last Monday!) has mentioned seeing anything, so surely if it looked bad or had grown, then they would've seen it and said something? Just wondering if this might be the cause of pain?!
I know I should really get it checked out (sigh), but don't want to cause a fuss and was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience after a CVS?
