AIBU?

To be really, really irritated by crisps?

Or rather the irritating habits some people have when eating them?

I've just spent two days at my brothers house. His flatmate is a lovely bloke but my god by the time I left I wanted to punch him.

He eats at least 6 packets of crisps a day, and always in a really annoying methodical way.

First he gently squeezes the air up to the top until the bag bursts

Then he works along the seam very noisily but gently easing it open.

He then shovels great big handfuls into his mouth

He then (shudder) opens out the bag fully and tips the crumbs into his mouth, before ripping open the entire packet and licking the inside of the bag.

He then licks his finger and used it to dab up any crumbs on his chest / lap.

Then spends fecking ages rolling the bag up and tying it in a know before flicking it across the room to the bin (usually missing)

Please allow me this rant and my detailed observations.

I cannot bear it.

I HATE CRISPS

I love crisps, but everyone knows the tearing-down-the-seam thing is only for sharing crisps. If you're eating them all yourself you only need to open the top.

I thought you were going to say how annoying they are when they persist in calling you to come and get them out of the cupboard!?!

YABU - you cannot blame the lovely little crisps for this slobs behaviour!

LMAO - as for the tearing down the seam, I make my dh do that as he has HUGE hands and the noise grates teeth of him forcing his enormous paw in the bag for EVERY crisp drove/drives me insane
