Not knowing what to do with the kids today

We are so bored, i have 2 boys one is 7 and the other is 3. Its raining so no outdoor games. Does anyone have any good ideas. Ta

how about making a 'den' indoors with blankets and having a picnic inside?

Mine are doing play-dough, sticking etc whilst i clean the house, i'm hoping the weather will be better tomorrow so we can get out of the house (we have been stuck in since friday with D&V bug), we are bored and fed up .

It's impossible to be bored already. Could you invite friends from school around or give them a treasure hunt to so , arts and crafts, build a camp they can eat their lunch in, read books, do some cooking....loads and loads

Wow that was quick, thankyou ladies, well i think i may give the den + picnic a go as its nearly lunchtime, the wet play i may consider, they done sticking yesterday, so i have been told they dont want to do that again

I know what you mean. Tried to take ds to an indoor activity centre yesterday, but it was more like a refugee camp inside. So just ended up wonderig round town while it snowed! I am wondering what to do today I wish dh would take a day off and take ds out on his bike to the park! Why does it have to be meeeeeeeeeee all day every day all the f* time!

I dont know anyone round here, no one speaks to me at the school, we have been here for a year + get treated as an outsider. Its like if you havent lived here all your life you wont fit in

we are bored today too but luckily the dds have gone to sleep so that problem is solved for the next hour or so.

DH did camp building with them yesterday and they loved it. How about the library?

my two oldest have turned the playpen into a "cottage" they put a blanket over for the roof and they have their little pots and pans cooking in there. I tried to play but they wouldnt let me apparently I am too big for their cottage. So I am mumsnetting and feeding my baby treats instead, poor me left out
