AIBU to not let 7yo nil watch Transformers as i want to watch something else?

I'm currently at my mil watching bbc on my little laptop whilst everyone else gets to watch whatever they want to on the main computer. I didn't complain about it I just turned it on and sat in a corner.

My bil then asked me to download Transformers as his nephew wanted to watch it, however by the time it had downloaded, I was watching something live on bbc iplayer and waiting to watch something after that. at 9.10 when bee movie had finished nil remembered he's asked to download transformers and proceeded to whine about wanting to watch it. I lied and said it hadn't downloaded but faced with mil and bil staring me in the face and questioning how long it had taken to download I crumbled and said it had. Luckily my bil got the hint and told darling nephew that he could watch it tomorrow, to which he started crying under the duvet (there are so many people staying they are sleeping on a blow up mattress in the living room).

AIBU to not let him watch it on my laptop? I just want to watch something for myself ffs my own dc's are fast asleep in bed and it's bloody late!

No you're not he's clearly overtired and needs his sleep! Kids get what they need not what they want, altho lying was a bit of an own goal!

to be fair if it was my own family I would have just said no go to sleep you little shit (ok minus the little shit bit) but I just wanted to avoid a scene.
