To hate fecking ticket touts?

Tried to book some concert tickets for my lovely gran for her birthday. Thought it would be relatively straightforward.

The official ticket sellers have sold out but there are absolutely loads of companies selling them at the most ridiculous prices.

One company was selling a ticket for £200 each!

Obviously I cant afford this so will have to think of something else but am so that she will be missing out because these twats are buying all the tickets and bumping up the prices with the sole intention of ripping everyone off.

tickets sold onto fans by fans, for no extra cost

depends on who the artist is of course, and how popular. can always track of a few on ebay and see what they end cost is. nearer the event date i've managed to get foo fighter tickets for a supposedly sold out gig at less than cost prices as the seller was desperate to get some money back.

also venues will sometimes release extra seats after the official tickets have been and gone once they/the artist has re-figured the set-up and decided they don't need as much room. keep checking on ticketmaster etc

there are more touts now then there used to be, and less people willing to pay rip of prices

Thanks for that. Had already checked Scarlet Mist and now checked the others but none available

Will keep checking, its not until 4th March so maybe I'll get something but not holding out too much hope as money is pretty tight atm so wont be able to pay too much over face value.

The thing is I'm not looking for tickets that you would expect to be sold out and going for a king's bloody ransom.
