tescos, sainsburys, waitrose, asda, summerfield and co-op.

NO BREAD MILK OR VEG

ques as far as the eye can see, its unreal, maybe im tougher than most but me and the dcs 2 and 1 did our weekly ritual of park, hot choc and some shopping, just with a few more layers and a lot more ooohs and ahhhs from then.

Oh and the added bonus that town was very quiet!

Why are people emptying the supermarkets like they may never leave the house again?

Ahh, this is the problem when the supermarkets don't have local suppliers though, the lorries are not able to travel up and down the country delivering stuff. We wouldn't have this problem if each of them used local suppliers

Blimey where do you live? I went into town today to get a few bits (lamb chops, bread, milk, carrots etc) popped into Iceland and it was actually better stocked than usual. Probably due to the lack of shoppers yesterday, but maybe it's because we have a waitrose, tesco, m&s food and an iceland within a small area?

It's Friday tomorrow, ds has only been to school on Tuesday, I don't know if I should bother sending him tomorrow. Hmm.

The roads are bad, they only have 2 days of grit left here, we don't have a car and they won't be gritting the pavements. I have to venture out tomorrow to pay some bills and we are nearly out of bread. No local shops here

yeah. it might be that some are tougher than others, but the roads and pavements are pretty horrendous so i wouldnt say its unduly nesh for people to do a really big shop now to see them through till it thaws a bit.
