Well? Am I?

I was enjoying it immensely until it all went a bit tired and emotional.
I find it quite flattering that my innocent little thread wink caused such a ruckus! It was meant to be funny. Honest!

I thought it was funny...particularly the bit when Rollergirl got in a tiz and i ran away like a big wuss blush

i kept thinking 'calm down dear, it's only a Mumsnet thread', but i thought that would only serve to wind people up

Not that i'm averse to a bit of a wind up grin

Rollergirl yes, of course. I respect anyone with the maturity to apologise smile. Sorry that sounds a bit patronising, but you know what I mean
wallace - I quite agree with you. I sometimes the MN mantra is diametrically opposite though grin
Twas all a bit wierd hmm. And most of the weirdery happened when I wasn't even here! But never mind. Let's all hold hands and sing happy songs <big jolly slightly strained smile>.
Orm - I have a mantra "Just because someone does something differently to the way I do it, doesn't mean they are wrong..." grin

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
