Trying to track down a copy of professor layton and the curious village for christmas.
Play.com showed it as being in stock on monday for 16 mins so I placed an order.
Received an e-mail saying order received.
Checked satus of order and it said 'awaiting stock'
Phoned to ask if my order would be dispached, but was told it was no longer availble and they would not be getting any more in so they has CANCELLED MY ORDER.
How dare they do this. They have been taking more orders on tuesday and wednesday since I placed mine with no hope of fullfilling them.
Complained to the manager that they should not be so quick to cancel my order as surely a place on a waiting list is better than nothing, but she is unable to reinstate the order.
Rant over, but will not be using play.com again.
