I have to admit that I amuse myself by classifying all of DD's boyfriends as dogs - so far she's had an Old English Sheepdog (hairy and loyal) a Red Setter (very pretty but totally dumb) an Afghan hound, or possibly a Borzoi (long nose, long blond hair, rather posh) a Rottweiler (looked as if he ought to be wearing a studded collar) and a Jack Russell (never stopped yapping)
I have so far been unable to decide on a classification for the current one, which is probably just as well.
