SPOILER:BIT PISSED. Ok so Cohen is the anti trump in a way: educated, erudite, self deprecating, a spiritual seeker, witty, deep, just a bloody gentleman . remember them? And he might have died last month, next week, next year.....but whatever made that truly great soul depart- the thing is just too obvious. and yes, he was French Canadian Jewish but he was certainly resident in the US if not a Trumpesque official Citizen for the latter part of his life.
