sorry if this has been done but was watching news this morning and trumpy was making a speech, only knew it was him as a heard his usual drivel. the potential president and possibly one of the most powerful people on the planet was wearing - a baseball cap, scruffy shirt, no tie and a scruffy jacket making a speech on tv to the american nation. i've seen street people have more respect for their appearance than him.dress isn't everything but....they really think he is a good idea ??
no wonder a famous ex bbc car presenter once said 'some americans have mated with vegetables' !

What he wears is the last on my list of concerns about Donald Trump

Of all the things to pick on?

I doubt Street sleepers make deliberate fashion statements.

He can dress up as BananaMan he's still a twat.

I really don't think repeating Clarkson's offensive comments are helpful.

America is a huge country with all sorts of different types of people. It's rather facile to lump them all together as thick Americans.

This presidential election is worrying, but not because of what Trump wears. Which I'm pretty sure his image and media people chose for good reason.

the point i was making is if he doesn't give a monkeys about how he looks, it is worrying that he really believes he can take on the big one. total nightmare in the waiting, if this is the best his team can manage then that speaks volumes.

No it doesn't speak volumes pip. His appearance will have been very carefully stage managed.

Lots of Trump's supports are blue collar workers. It will be a calculated effort for a billionaire to appear to be a man of the people.

It's not like he turned up inappropriately dressed for a TV debate.
