Front of the house is open plan.
Next door is a bit intimidating. Full of muscles very hot headed, shouts at his kids a lot.
He has 2 dogs which are always outside and Barking, I'm not overly bothered about that dogs bark.
My problem is that he let's them out of the back off the lead to roam around the front and piss up mu bin and now my plant pots, which have now started to suffer and the plants are dying, also I don't like the smell of fresh dog urine the minute I step out my front door.

I have approached him before and asked him not to let his dogs on out property just to relieve themselves. I don't mind them coming over to have a sniff etc.
He said he would keep control of them.
That was last night, this morning there is fresh piddle on my pots.
What else can I do?
Talking to him obviously has no effect

This would involve digging up the driveway, which we can't afford at the moment but yes it is something we have discussed

Could you put the plants in hanging baskets instead? There is no reasoning with some people unfortunately.

How about some cheap wire fence? Just for now? My neighbours have this, so in effect I do too, no problems. We have proper fencing our side and wire on 'their' side of fence

Have hanging baskets too.
I'll have a look into some fencing
Thank you

You can get a deterrent spray from most pet shops, only a few quid.

I have the same issue but the dog shits on my lawn. Will have to dig up a path to put a fence up and really can't afford it but it's that or live with the dog shit in my garden. Or report to the local authorities but as the police are a regular feature on his doorstep and broke down his front door at midnight on Monday, he isn't someone I want to antagonise. I'm hoping we can move house and hope we get better luck with future neighbours. So I can't offer you a solution but I sympathise!
