Vodafone contacted me saying as they're increasing prices above what is 'allowed', so I can pull out of my contract... 22£ pcm unlimited more or less everything... I have 8.months remaining.. Although my old skool Samsung s4 is increasingly tatty and glitchy...

Aibu to be absurdly happy... Yes I know I'm sadGrin....

Has anyone tried a kazam mobile... I'm thinking of going with virgin mobile? They look pretty good value?? Or any other recommends?

I just found out that NHS workers or students or teachers can get discounts of up to 25% of airtime costs with o2.

I bought an honor phone from amazon, and then went to sim only contract.

Is that an option?

Dontquote
Vodafone offer the same thing.

But they are awful to deal with.

They have charged me £6 for a call to a London landlines (I am near Liverpool )

And then the shop man called me a liar for saying "not all companies charge to make a phone call. 3 don't. I have been with 3 for 4 years. "

My new voda deal is supposed to include a few hundred minutes (didn't take much notice as I rarely use it for a call)
Several hundred or maybe even thousands of texts (again, the 5 or 6 I send in a day won't use them all)
And 10 gig of Internet.

Signal is awful.
Man in the shop called me a liar for saying I had an £8 a month bill for 2 years (after paying for old phone for 2 years)

I will be glad when this deal finishes and I can move to somebody else!

I've just gone with Tesco mobile. They use O2's network and have just won Uswitch award for best value. I got a Sony M4 Aqua on a decent contract for about 20 a month.

I'm with Virgin. You get a discount if you have their tv package. Also free unlimited calls and texts to other virgin mobiles.

Depending on your deal and what tv package you're on, you can get free calls to Virgin landlines as well.

Having said that, their 3G is not brilliant. Also the choice of phones they offer is a bit shit and some of the packages they do seem expensive compared to others. They also used to offer free insurance, which I think they've stopped doing and they also hoik their prices up every year.

If you're already a BT customer, their sim-only mobile deals are very good value. They use EE's network (as they own EE) so you get decent 4G too (though not the double-speed 4G that EE's own customers get).

See www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/4g-sim-only-plans/bb.html
