To ask for your help - housing in South Wales please

I'm a regular here and I haven't name changed so feel free to look at my history. I'm heavily involved in woolly hugs and the Chernobyl children's project too, this is a genuine plea for help.

My sister in law is in desperate need of a rental property around the Bridgend/Pencoed area of South Wales. She is a single mum with an absolute twat of an ex who helps in no way whatsoever. She has four young girls. She's a full time uni student trying desperately to make a better life for her and her girls.

Has been in her 3 bed rental for over three years there, is never behind on rent and bills. Unfortunately her landlord is selling and has given her notice, she has to be out by July 5th. LA can't help her as she isn't a high priority and she is struggling to find anything at all.

Does anyone know of any three + bed properties she can apply for? Is anyone a landlord looking for a bloody good tenant?

Please can anyone help her? We are hundreds of miles away in Leeds so obviously aren't able to do it ourselves.

Please help? PM me if you have any contacts or ideas at all for her. Thankyou

I'm on a Facebook page called something like 'houses to rent in South Wales'. I've just had a quick look but there's nothing in Bridgend but why don't you or her join and ask like you have here?
Word of mouth is crucial. There are loads of private landlords around (some are lovely!) so she needs to start a publicity campaign say in local newsagents etc saying she's a good tenant being open if she's on HB.
Apologies I'm quite a distance away up the valleys and have no contacts in Bridgend.

Any other areas any good? In laws have a property up for let in CF37 (Pontypridd area).

Seems to be loads of landlords selling up at the moment ( possibly because of the new BTL rules?). I have quite a few friends in the same situation being turfed out. Hope your sister manages to find something soon.
