Do you or someone you known work from home? What do you/they do?

I've sent off my cv to an online bingo gaming company and applied as forum moderator (not heard anything back yet).

I've looked at online surveys - impossible to earn more than pennies for hours & hours work.

Any suggestions?

Everyone I know who works from home and makes good money does a self-employed professional job.

Or they work for Task Rabbit in London or have a call centre job based from home.

I work from home as does dh. We run our own business.

I don't know anyone who works permanently from home who isn't running their own business.

The only people I know who work from home are self employed in a semi professional or professional capacity. Most have been previously employed and realised they were being ripped off and working too hard for a wanky boss so set up doing exactly the same thing for themselves :-)

I work for a typical MLM company, where there's a (small) fee to join and you recruit a team - which is very frowned upon on MN as a pyramid scam/won't earn you any money etc.

I know different and that it does earn you decent money (and is not a scam). So I can suggest something op, if this ^ sort of thing appeals to you. But i'm not coming out and posting it because i'll only get jumped on But happy to share if you want to pm me.
