dailym.ai/1qPwYo5 second article in two days about mums net forums, this is outrageous this poor lady came on here to speak to people in confidence and he daily mail plastered it all over the fucking place and even included the sons name which could be potentially identifying! What can we do about this?

Not post it again?

Sorry, totally misunderstood although if you're putting something on a public forum you take the risk of this happening. Wrong though

I do think this is taking lazy and intrusive journalism to unacceptable lengths. I know they have every right to do it, but we have every right to criticise them for it. And also to recognise that, unfortunately, it lives right down to the Daily Fail's normal abysmal standards.

That is a new low even for the DM. Disgusting!

They are truly, utterly and completely vile creatures.

Surely they can't just nick stories like that? Such lazy journalism for one thing

It's low behaviour and beyond lazy journalism, but you can't 'snoop' on a public forum - it's there for all to see.

I get that this forum is public but I think publishing a nationwide article about this is just beyond bloody vile! I really hope that the op is okay, as if the poor lady hasn't been through enough

It's absolutely disgusting to print the child's name.

I get that it's a pubic forum and the DM have always been vile, but adding in the name, was just cruel, she'll be easily identifiable to people who know her, she came on for support not to be used as fodder for the masses.

They have gone too far this time. Vulchers preying on misery.

This might be a public forum but nobody posts anything like that expecting it to end up in the DM, or any other paper for that matter! I am horrified and so sad for the OP. Sad

I know it's small mercies but I'm glad they didn't use the photo. They are such shits, I didn't think I could hate them more. MN own the copyright to things posted on their site, have DM dodged that by not lifting it word for word?

I just saw this and had the same thoughts. It's awful enough using someone's grief and misery to produce a cheap 'filler' story, but to actually quote the little boy's name is beyond the pale.

Yes, the content is public once you've posted here, but I don't think anyone would post on the bereavement board, or the relationship board etc and expect to see it lifted wholesale including their name and printed in the DM for all to see Sad.

Shock That is fucking disgraceful!! That poor lady had posted a photo of her lovely little boy and gotten lots of support, this could set her back, it must have taken guts to open up even if it was on an anonymous forum
