AIBU?

To chuck out all my clothes?

I reckon I would be, and no, I'm obviously not going to, but:

The entire load of laundry that I washed and hung to dry yesterday is covered in what looks like long, white acrylic cat hair. I share the washing machine with two flats above me - can only assume the fibers are from something one of them put in the machine as I don't own anything that looks remotely like them.

How on earth do I get my stuff clean again? I've tried a lint roller but have still got 80 percent of my wash to go and have gone through three rolls already. Considering just folding the stuff and putting it away and then lint rolling each piece as I wear it.

My life has turned into white fiber hell - what's the path to salvation?

wrap sellotape round your hand and use the stickiness to take it all off

Wash again and tumble dry? That works for the long, white, actual cat hair on our clothes.

And 'warn' the other users to rinse the machine before they use it (one of them will be the culprit of course Wink)
