Jesus probably looked similar to many modern Muslims. He certainly wasn't a Christian as toddler. He was Jewish and might have looked middle eastern.

I am certain that Donald Trump would have banned him and certainly considered Jesus to be a dangerous leftie. Surely if the looney American right think that Obama is a Muslim then they would probably class Jesus as a Muslim. Islamophobia and stupidity go hand in hand. Since it's impossible tell what someone's religion by looking at them, people like Donald Trump discriminate on race instead.

I doubt that Syrians Muslims fleeing IS would be that offended to be compared to Jesus and his family. Muslims revere Jesus as prophet and have their own set of beliefs about him. I don't know if Muslims believe the massacre of the innocents happened or not. Probably it's not discussed in the Koran.

Trump wasnt just talking about syrian muslim refugees, i reckon it was making more of a statement about the president's parentage than anything else. How many families fled from Ireland to America during the various famines? 2 million in 10 years I think. 80,000 died on coffin ships. But they were allowed to take the risk, and were given a chance when they got there. There are over 6.5 million people currently displaced from Syria. But of course they must all be evil IS sympathisers or agents with an agenda all the refugees in Greece and Turkey, living in awful camps, just can't wait to get their hands in Britians purse "all the refugees are men" erm you mean the ones at Calais? No shit. Young men travelling alone can get further than any other group, is that not obvious? To send your brother or partner on ahead, they can't get into UK so maybe try Germany instead then can ask to send for family once they earn the money to do so. Ironically Christians (and various other non-Muslim and Muslim sub-sects) are being ethnically cleansed from the Middle East, not by Donald Trump and his supporters but by ISIS who are Sunni Muslims. No one had said that Donald Trump is responsible for ethnic cleaning. The fact is that the US easily has both the money and the space to take more asylum seekers than it currently does. Comments about banning "Muslims"
from the US hurt asylum seekers. The problem is not Donald Trump but the voters he represents.

Allowing people to die in refugee camps or drown in the med is not much better than ethnic cleansing. The U.K. citzens who advocate stopping overseas aid to Syrian migrants would be condemning thousands to their death if they got their way.
