Any scientists that can confirm this is normal? Im planning on just boil washing my slippers and then scrubbing feet, washing with soap and drying with hairdrier.

I reckon I'd chuck the slippers. Why on earth do you need to dry your feet with a hairdrier? Just use a clear towel.
