Shameless use of AIBU to ask people to donate to the disaster fund at Disasters Emergency Committee if you have already not done so and you would like to help in some small way. The news coming out of there is horrendous and it's only getting worse.

I'd also be interested in anything more long term to donate to, rather than just the DEC if anyone has any suggestions. I would like to get involved in something that's more focused on rebuilding over a long period of time as well as the more obvious (and essential) relief efforts.

I think it will be difficult to find any long term aid/fund right now because there's such an immediate need.
