Going to a big family party tonight. First night out since DD was born last year. Got a nice outfit to hide my post baby fat, new hair do, pretty dress for DD feeling quite excited.

My period has decided that today it will reappear. Why today! Whyyyy!

And I'm still bloody breastfeeding!!

You can still have a great time! You aren't confined to the red tent!

Why does it matter? You can still go and have a fun time.

Oh I'll still go. But it interrupts the fun a little when I'm changing every hour (at least). Pre DD I used to have terrible periods, and I'm already flooding now Hmm

Mooncup and maxi pads. I flood too and the mooncup changed my life for one week out of four. I still use pads but only to make sure I don't leak. When I remember how often I had to try and get blood out of work clothes in the disabled loo, I could weep.

Are moon cups good? I've never used tampons as I dislike them, so maxi pads changed constantly it is. Thank goodness I'm wearing black!

The headaches and 'dinosaur trying to eat it's way out of my uterus' feelings are in full force. I really hoped they wouldn't reappear until I finished breastfeeding! Sad

I hate tampons too, they give me cramps. Mooncup is amazing. Amazing. I use a pad because I'm paranoid but most of the time it's spotless.

I love my mooncup, its awesone. tampons made me feel ill, and would really irritate. But I went from changing hourly to emptying twice a day

Can you take ibuprofen when BF? I found that best for the dino cramps
