We've nothing on Local Talk yet so posting here for traffic.

My lot have only just finished our calls. It'll be a hectic night no doubt but if you can just give a nod here.

Can't believe this. My heart is breaking.

I was in my office five minutes from George Square when it happened, I had no idea until my auntie texted to ask if I was okay. It's just so awful.

ASAS · 22/12/2014 18:36

Just horrific. Are you home now?

Not sure how many people know me here but this is a good idea. There's a thread in chat too. Heartbroken for our lovely city but especially those families

HerrenaHarridan · 22/12/2014 18:37

What? What happened? Had something happened in Glasgow?

RoastingYourChestnutsHurtsAlot · 22/12/2014 18:39

Yes also check on your family and friends if you're further afield. There's so little news atm.

Also post if you need anything logistical.

We left the office 20 minutes early as there was only two of us in and my colleague wasn't sure how busy the roads would be. She dropped me at the station and I got home on the train with no issues.

ASAS · 22/12/2014 18:52

Have a good night MrsB

My husband walked past where the bin lorry crashed about 20mins before it happened as he was on his way back to his office after doing some last minute Christmas shopping. Makes you think. Prayers for all involved

weegiemum · 22/12/2014 19:39

We're fine here - very glad that my girls decided not to go into town today, though.

Just such a ghastly thing to happen in one of the best places I know :(

wildernessagogo · 22/12/2014 19:39

My DH was in Glasgow this afternoon finishing off the shopping. My heart stood still when I heard about this. He's thankfully safe and well though. My thoughts are with the families.

inlectorecumbit · 22/12/2014 19:55
