To really want to invent...

a heated toilet roll holder. The weather is getting cold, the radiator in the bathroom is a bit dodgy and I think having a toasty warm bottom would be quite nice.

How would a heated toilet roll holder warm your bottom? Wouldn't a heated toilet seat be better?

I think you can buy wet wipe warmers. Would that work?

What you want is a heated toilet seat, not a toilet roll holder. That would be pointless.

I don't think it's U to want to invent anything at all.

But as others have pointed out, your invention doesn't fit the purpose you intend it to.

The japanese I think are quite advanced in toilet luxury - I'd have a look at what they have on offer and see if you can expand on it for an even more comfortable, hygenic bottom experience.

I sat on a heated toilet seat in a restaurant once. It was most disconcerting, felt like it had just been warmed up by someone else's arse.

When I was in Japan I went to the loo on a restaurant which had a scarily high tech toilet with heated seat, bidet sprays and blow dry facilities. The most unnerving part was the sign warning that the heated seat carries the risk of low temperature burn if misused, illustrated by pictures of someone passing out pissed and waking up with a seat shaped ring round the forehead. Be careful, OP!

We had our radiators within reaching distance of the toilets so the toilet paper just went on top and was warmed automatically by the heating. Wonderful.
