AIBU?

To think the 'professional' should do a better job than me?

I've been waxing and being waxed for over 20 years. Will do it myself when times are tight but prefer to get it done in a salon, not least as that is meant to yield better results.

Just went for a half leg and basic bikini wax. Used to get brazilian but not that bothered since having DD and accompanying episiotomy scar Anyway just when I find somewhere I like they seem to have yet another new girl. I'm assuming straight out of college, which would be fine if only they could do the job properly. The one today took forever, faffed around, missed bits all over the place, I've come home and my legs are covered in wax and have gone blue from my jeans then sticking to it. I mean you always get a little bit stuck on but this was terrible.

Basic bikini which was all I wanted, she said she only does the basic ones anyway and then proceeded to lob the one of corners off the 'triangle' of my bush! It looks ridiculous. I didn't really notice any of this at the time so didn't say anything but got home and just spent half an hour in the bathroom fixing it up and trying to get the wax off. I could have done it better myself Sad

I'd send an email complaining & ask for your money back

Yes she should, but if you're saying she is new and clearly inexperienced whilst you have been waxing on and off for 20 years, maybe you actually have more experience than the professional.

Do you remember her name? I've had similar issues (often with very experienced people I just don't like them) so I always make an appointment but not with X.

Yes mama I made a point of asking her name so I can make sure I get the other girl next time, I just want to grab the stuff and start doing it myself haha! I don't feel they get enough practice in their training but even so after 3 months (I asked how long she had worked there) you think she'd be up to speed by now.
hamster I wish I could say I would but I'm too wussy and avoid confrontation Blush
