bloody skip lorry

Next door are having some work done in their garden, all fine, not a problem except we have been woken at 6:45 3 times in the past 6 days by the skip lorry swapping over the skips of rubble they are removing from their garden. Angry
It looks like there is still quite a bit of ground work to be done in the garden so there may be more skip fulls to be taken away

WIBU to ask them to tell the skip company not to come quite so early in the morning? I thought there were rules about not making noise in residential areas before 7am.

What time do you normally wake up, then?

It might be a PITA, but it's only while they have this work done, isn't it?

Have an indulgent breakfast in bed, watch some TV or if you have a partner, maybe you could do something together to pass the time, and look forwards to when your mornings are more peaceful again

I think you'd be hard pushed to make them delay for all of 15 minutes. Unfortunately I think this is one of those moments you just have to suck it up.. It won't be for long and it's not a permanent thing. I would be annoyed too though.

Unless the vehicle is entering or leaving the property (as in just going to work) the 7am is the time when this is allowed. This was taken from a government website.

YWNBU to ask them to come after 7am as skips when being delivered/collected are bloody noisy.

Saying that though our bin men come at 6:45 and that's bloody noisy, always wakes me up Angry. Especially when I realise I have forgotten to put the bins out and now it's too late and I have to wait 2 freaking weeks.
