Should be magnetic! And there should be an attachment on the front of vacuum cleaners that picks them up before the vacuum does. For all those bits you miss, every sodding time!!!

Grrrrrrrr

Use the 'leg' bit from an old pair of tights. Put it on the end of the nozzle and switch it on. Suck up the lego, then turn the hoover off and pull it out. It should be full of Lego, IYSWIM.

DD stepped on a piece yesterday. Sweet, sweet karma.

Magnetic lego would be a nightmare to separate for making things, and you can be sure the DCs would be running to you to help! But the lego catcher would be great, especially if it could catch a variety of other small things as well- earrings, pins, pens and so on.

Ah. I thought your post was going to be "all lego without exception is very expensive".

(But I'm a bit under the weather today and clearly lacking a sense of fun.)

Walk around in bare feet...you'll soon find them!

Gotcha. Grin

Law of sod dictates that you'll only stand on them when it's pitch black and you're half asleep.

TheOneWithTheHair · 07/02/2014 15:02

I'd still only find half of them MissPixie!

You are so right about the dark LadyMary!

I thought the full sentence was gong to be that all Lego is the work of the devil.

I am still hobbling thanks to the latest pounce from a lying -in-wait piece.

It is the work of the devil- especially the clear pieces. The tights in the end of the Hoover extension is a good idea though Smile

I am amazed no-one has fallen down the stairs here. There is never not some on the stairs.

The cat loves batting it around as well. It's the only bit of playing she does now, bless her aged whiskers

Well my children eat lego, so I think magnetic lego would be very dangerous, as magnetic things attract in the intestine and cause all sorts of problems... can you tell I have 3 boys and spend a lot of time in A&E?!

All Lego, without exception, .....
Is bloody annoying.
Not only should it be magnetic but each "set" should have a unique magnetic strength or signature (doesn't even exist in the world of physics Grin) so that sets can be kept together.

And we're only on duplo so far. I have so much angst to come.
