KeepingUpWithTheJonses Sat 30-Nov-13 09:59:11

Really? Thread worthy? hmm

KeepingUpWithTheJonses Sat 30-Nov-13 09:59:32

grin

KippyVonKipperson Sat 30-Nov-13 10:01:09

I'd love to be able to do this confused in real life

FutTheShuckUp Sat 30-Nov-13 10:01:57

It's sad not arsey

southeastastra Sat 30-Nov-13 10:01:59

i can actually do the hmm face in rl, really irks people

CoffeeAndTheThames Sat 30-Nov-13 10:02:47

Yabu. It's the best one of the lot. It drives me sooooo crazy that I can't use it in texts etc. hmm

Pascha Sat 30-Nov-13 10:03:49

hmm is how I imagine I look at least 60% of the time. I like him very much. He is very me.

I find grin far to try hard and cheesy though, unless I am really laughing.

KeepingUpWithTheJonses Sat 30-Nov-13 10:04:25

It's not sad hmm

It's the artistic version of 'prick' IMO

Pascha Sat 30-Nov-13 10:04:47

How is it sad, Fut?

Sparklingbrook Sat 30-Nov-13 10:05:35

I use it for tutting about DSs, as in 'DS left his towel on the floor, expects me to pick it up hmm so indicating 'flippin teenager',

But try not to use it at another poster.

confused generally sums it up.

bundaberg Sat 30-Nov-13 10:06:05

i love it! it's my fave. i wish it was on facebook too as I often have need of it

Bowlersarm Sat 30-Nov-13 10:06:05

It does the trick then. I assume the whole point would be to get the back up of the person it's aimed at.

I hate the biscuit thingy. I don't really get what that's all about, except that it's an insult.

KeepingUpWithTheJonses Sat 30-Nov-13 10:07:38

biscuit to me says 'Calm down dear. You fucking hysterical wench'.

Very patronising. Buy yet so often appropriate.

DameFanny Sat 30-Nov-13 10:08:48

hmm is my favourite

I tend to use grin more than smile because smile seems PA for some reason

hmm

Bowlersarm Sat 30-Nov-13 10:11:00

Oh I thought biscuit was more "you are being so unbelievably rude/arrogant/arsey/ridiculous/whatever I can't be doing with you any more, you really take the biscuit"

Upcycled Sat 30-Nov-13 10:12:56

I was thought that biscuit meant fuck off...
Not sure why?

LuciusMalfoyisSmokingHot Sat 30-Nov-13 10:13:32

i can do the arsey face RL, although for its not arsey, its bemused.

drbonnieblossman Sat 30-Nov-13 10:33:12

I am new here, and I thought biscuit meant " Just going to sit back, have a biccy and watch the shit hit the fan on this thread".

But I know nothing about these things.

sandfrog Sat 30-Nov-13 10:37:30

You could make whole sentences just of emoticons.

cake envy cake smile thanks

biscuit shock angry hmm brew smile

BlackholesAndRevelations Sat 30-Nov-13 10:40:20

I love it! I too wish it was on texts and Facebook, same with confused

mrsjay Sat 30-Nov-13 10:45:08

oh confused is my favourite as i am often confused so use confused all the time grin

mrsjay Sat 30-Nov-13 10:46:05

I hardly ever use hmm though

MsJupiterJones Sat 30-Nov-13 11:45:15

I thought the biscuit was 'no comment', as in Gordon Brown.

I wish the emoticons on the app matched the website. I do get confused between hmm and sad.

Also I think they should be women.

enriquetheringbearinglizard Sat 30-Nov-13 12:10:07

I like hmm and to me it really does say Hmm

I don't like grin it looks manic rather than grinning.

And we just don't see enough bear I might just start using him at random.
