I have just had the fright of my life.

I decided to go to bed and MN from there for a hour or so. I pull the covers back and I shout 'What the fuck' then my brain registers what is going on.

Under the covers lay a 3 year old naked boy and a creepy doll with its eyes wide open! I saw the doll first!

My heart is beating so fast right now. This is why I hate dolls. Creepy fuckers!

They should be banned.

Do you have a 3 year old boy? Because that might worry me more. Grin

That is definitely creepy.

Dd2's doll looks deceptively like a real sleeping baby. The number of times I've been judged on my parenting of dd2's life-size baby doll is ridiculous. Who honestly believes I would carry a real baby by one arm? Or would leave a real baby on a picnic table to run after a 3yo?

Baby Anabell. Her head moves all Exorcist-like.

It's just wrong.

I pulled back my covers to find a big dead spider. It was dead, presumably, because I must have sat on it as I lay on the bed feeding DD to sleep.

But creepy doll wins.

Dolls are especially scary when your 2yr old carries one the same size as your newborn son, around by the head! I didn't run towards her screaming hysterically. Oh no, not me

My Tiny Tears lived in the wardrobe, pristine, as I hated it and all dolls from an early age. It would probably be worth a fortune now if my Mum had thought to keep it!

LittleNutTree - DD left her doll in DS's crib. I was holding DS when I noticed, I still had a moment of "whaa????" before I came to my senses Grin

My toddler son has a Lionel Messi baby doll, which wears full football kit and a mob cap in his team colours on its bald head. His sportsmad granny gave it to him, and it is the most sinister thing I have ever seen.

I will never forgot the trains being stopped whilst the police were called about the dead baby thrown on the train tracks.

Bastarding baby Annabel

Have you seen those Sam dolls?!

My son wants one but I refused. Its the same size as him and they look unhinged. It would be like inviting chucky in.

My nanna had a spare room with loads of those pot dolls in.

I always refused to sleep in there. No matter where I stood they were all staring at me. Same as posters.

Also hate (the program) baby jake, and the merchandise doll for that is scary shit.

Actor who does baby Jake, cute

Baby Jake doll

They've copied the likeness like aliens would copy a human, it theoretically right, but adds up to a very sinister 5.

The baby Jake doll is the creepiest thing ever. I went to get it for my brothers 2nd birthday. Saw it and just went nope.

My tiny tears ended up with multi coloured hair ( face paints), earrings and a nose stud. Funny now the only difference between that doll and me is that at 40 I have just added a lip piercing to myself. I no longer have the doll to do the same Grin. I hated dolls. I had a bus ticket collection Blush

Yabu!

I loved all those "baby" dolls as a child. As an adult I find them so creepy with their non blinking eyes! Grin

A bus ticket collection? Grin

I was bought a doll. It cried too much and I didn't like them. You know those inflatable bags that were see through that were popular a long time ago? Well I stuffed it in there and shoved it under my bed.

The baby Jake doll is really awful. Dd asked for it a while back but never got it.

I remember when I was younger and my grandma bought me a doll that scared the shit out of me. It sat in a rocking chair and had a brown dress on. It was a porcelain one she got from Spain. It freaked me out so much that on my way to school one day I sneaked it into a wheelie bin streets away from my house and for weeks I had nightmares of this doll crawling to my house from this bin to get revenge.

Ps I am too old for crying dolls. The best they made when I was little were ones that wet themselves. You put water in the to and it comes out the other end. Wow the ingenuity Grin
