On the rocks, small wedge of lime.

Sometimes have a brandy and Calpol before bed as well.

YABU. Lemon is the only acceptable citrus fruit to have with gin.

Lime is pretentious. Especially if you do that awful thing of wiping it round the edge of the glass so it's all you can taste.

I prefer to rub a cooked Lincolnshire sausage round the edge of my cocktails, herby AND savoury. Et voila!

Unnecessary, I think, which is the same as being vulgar.

I eat with my cutlery in the 'wrong' hands so if someone gives me a fish knife I have to use it upside down and then they sneer and judge.

Unfortunately, fish knives are not only vulgar but never sharp enough to be useful stabbing implements.

I have found Actifed to be a passable substitute for sloe gin.

I'm on good old-fashioned lemsip and whisky today.

A while ago (whilst ill, so I could be mistaken) I read the side of the buttercup syrup box and it's about as alcoholic as a weak wine.

It tastes fucking great anyway.

Does gripe water freeze? You could make novelty ice cubes for the gin useful for parties or emergencies.
